Step first : Draw a line segment BC = 6 cm.

Step second : construct angle of 60° at B on BC

Step third: Taking B as centre with 9 cm radius draw an arc which cut the ray of 60° angle at X

Step fourth join X and c

Step fifth : the draw perpendicular bisector of

XC

Step six: wherever this perpendicular bisector intersection BX, name that point as a A

Step seven: Join A and C

Step eight: so A ABC will be the required triangle.

justification :

AC = AX (as point A on perpendicular bisector ramains equidistant from X and

AX + AB =9 cm

AC + AB =9cm
