Correct Question :-

Construct a ∆PQR with PQ = 4.5 cm, ∠P = 60° and PR = 4.5 cm. Measure ∠Q and ∠R. What type of triangle is it.

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment PQ of 4.5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point P and draw a ray measuring 60° from it.
  • Then, take a compass and measure it as 4.5 cm and keep it's tip on the point P and draw an arc on the ray drawn.
  • Now, join the point Q to the point where the ray and the arc meets. Name it as point R.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\:

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and also the drawn lines should be straight always.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays measuring any measurement of degrees as given in the question. It's also used to measure the angles.
  • Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arcs of accurate measurements of centimetres by taking the measurements from ruler.
