Construct AXYZ in which YZ=4.1cm, 2Y=45, and XY+XZ 6.7 cm, ​

Steps of Construction :-

Draw YZ = 4.1 cm

Construct ∠ZYP = 45°

Along YP, set off YQ = 6.7 cm

Join ZQ

Draw the Perpendicular Bisector of ZQ to intersect YQ at X

Join XZ

Then, ΔABC is the Required Triangle . . .

Verification :-

On measuring, we find that -

XY + YZ = (3.6 + 3.1) cm = 6.7 cm
