Answer:

Answer:Follow the below steps to construct the parallelogram.

Step-by-step explanation:

To construct a parallelogram we need to first :-

(i) Draw AB = 5.5cm

(ii) With A as center and radius 6.5 cm,draw an arc.

(iii) Then taking B as center and radius 4cm draw another arc, cutting the previous arc at C.

(iv)Then join BC and AC.

(v) Taking A as center and radius

4cm, draw an arc.

(vi) With C as center and radius 5.5cm draw another arc that cut the previously drawn arc at D.

(vii) Join DA and DC.

(viii) Then ABCD is the required parallelogram;

Steps of construction:

⇒ Draw a line segment AB=4.5cm.

⇒ Construct an angle of 120°at B.

⇒ We have given that distance between AB and DC is 3cm, then AD=BC=3 cm.

⇒ Since it's parallelogram and AD = BC then, AB = CD.

⇒ With B as a center and radius 3 cm then cut off at point C.

⇒ With C as center and radius CD =4.5 cm draw an arc.

⇒ Then with A as center and radius AD =3 cm draw an arc intersecting at point D.

⇒ Join AD and CD

hope this may help you
