construct rectangle XYZW in which XY = 5.5 cm and YZ = 4.5 cm . write the steps of construction.

Step-by-step explanation:

As, we know that opposite side of rectangle is equal.

Steps of Construction:

1. Draw XY =5.5cm and YZ = 4.5cm 2. Taking X as centre draw an arc of radius 4.5cm.

3. Taking Z as centre draw an arc of radius 5.5cm.

4. Join WX and WZ.

Thus, WXYZ is a required rectangle.
