Steps of Construction:

1. Draw a line segment AB= 5.5cm

2. With A as centre and radius of 8.7cm Draw an arc to obtain point C.

3. Now, With B as centre cut an arc of 5.9cm to intersect the previous arc. The required point is C.

4. Now C as centre Draw an arc of 4.8cm and then A as centre Cut an arc of 6.2cm to intersect the previous arc.The required point is D.

5. Now join BC, AC , CD and AD.

Remember always Draw a rough sketch for construction
