Hi,

I can help you with the steps needed to answer the question.

1) Draw a straight line LN = 8 cm

2) Use your circular with a measure of 7.5 (use scale to measure) and draw an arc using L as the centre.

3) Use your circular with a measure of 5 cm and draw an arc such that it meets the previous arc using N as the centre.

4) The point where the arcs meet is M.

5) Join Lm and NM.

Locating the centroid:

1) Locate the centre of each of the sides of the triangle LM, MN, NL.

2) Name the centres of the sides LM, MN, NL as A, B, C respectively.

3) Join LB, MC, NA.

4) The point that LB, MC, NA meet is the centroid of the triangle.

Hope it helps!!!
