➤ Correct Question :-
Construct a triangle XYZ in which XY = 7 cm, ∠X = 60° and ∠y = 50°.
Steps :-
- First, draw a line segment XY of 7 cm.
- Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point X and draw a ray measuring 60°.
- Again, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Y and draw a ray measuring 90°.
- Now, join both the rays at the same point. If they doesn't meet extend the rays. The point where both the rays meets is named as point Z.
- Finally, the triangle is constructed.
Instruments used :-
- Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw theine segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
- Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays measuring accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
