Start with x=2. Multiply both sides by any number you want. I'll choose 4. So after multiplying both sides by 4, we get 4x=8.

Now add any number to both sides. I'm going to add 6 to both sides to get 4x%2B6=14

So one two step equation that has a solution of x=2 is 4x%2B6=14
