\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment YZ of 6 cm.
  • Then, take a protractor and keep its mid-point at the point Y and draw a ray which measures 40°.
  • Next, take a cómpass and measure it using a scale. Take a measurement of 6 cm, and cut an arc on the ray drawn.
  • Now, join the point where the ray and arc meets to the point Z. The place where the point and the ray meets is named as point X.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Scale :- Scale is used to draw the lines straight and to draw the lines of accurate measurements. The measurements of the lines should be correct.
  • Protractor :- Protractor is used to measure the angles given. It's mainly used to measure the angles.
  • Cómpass:- Cómpass is used to draw the arc on the ray by taking measurement.

More to know :-

  • While constructing the triangle always draw the base, for which line has greatest measurement.
  • Use ruler for accurate measurement and the construction should be as per to the question.
