construction of houses, roads , shops etc decreases the seepage of rainwater into the ground . justify the statement
farooqak93gmailcom:
rainwater getting into earth is natural passage(absorption) not seepage. what you mean is preventing seepage of rainwater inside the house. then ofcourse proper construction not just construction will solve your problem. One of the most common problems in homes that have basements is water seeping inside and pooling on the floor. Several things cause a basement to get wet. Wet basements usually occur after heavy rains or during the winter months.

Answer:
Rain water is the main source of the water to the planet earth. Rain is formed by the process of water cycle in the environment.
With the difference in the cloud and the ground level, the ice crystals melt and fall to the ground in the form of rain.
When the humans construct houses, roads, shops, and many other buildings for their wealth and for their necessary the ground water is getting decreased as the buildings and many other constructions are made up of cement and tar which would cover the ground soil so that the rain water does not reach the ground and there is decrease in the ground water.
