Mallikarjuna temple is one of the oldest Hindu temple located in Andhra Pradesh.
It covers an area of 2 hectares and has gopurams which means four gateway towers. Mallikarjuna and Bhramaramba are the two most notable shrines of this temple, among many others.
Mukha Mandapa is one of the many halls in this temple which is famously known. This temple has seven pillars in the centre mandapam and also has an idol of Nadikeshwara. The walls of this temple are of tall built each measuring 183 m by 152 m.
