First let me tell what is a resource. Anything that satisfies human needs is known as a resource. At, present our consumption of resources is far more than our conservation. This is resulting in the depletion of resources. Earth takes time to convert the waste into resources, this time if more than the time in which resources are being turned if into waste. At present, 20% of the world's population is using 80% of the earth's resources. So, if consumption is important then so is the conservation.
