tigers is the national animal of India. Once there were a lot of tigers but nowadays, hunters are killing them to earn money. peoples use tiger skin for decorations. tiger are the top of the food chain. they considered as the indicator of the heath of eco system. they also found in a wide range habitats from the evergreen forests. in the order to save these precious big cats, project tiger a wildlife conservation project was launched in 1973, and the project become one of the most successful project to save wildlife. the main purpose of the project is to increase the rate of tigers in the reserve areas.
from a mere 268 in 7 reserves in 1972 to above one thousand in 28 reserves in 2006. Owing to the project, the number of tigers has improved to 2,226 as per the latest census report released on 20 January 2015. as we all have our family such as our parents and our parents never want to lose us, wildlife animals also have their family. as we miss our family, animals also miss their family. yes they cant say anything but we have to feel them. we have to save them.
Its just a humble request to you all to save tigers. they also have their family. The Save Tiger Activists in collaboration with Government should make a task force to save the tigers by keeping round the clock watch on tiger reserves and habitats.
