Vehicles that required less torque to move like bicycles, regular motorcycles, mountain bikes, dirt riders, hatchbacks use narrow tyres while the vehicles like Sports bikes, sedans, SUVs Trucks need wide tyres.
The reason behind is to aquire better torque, the more the surface area the more torque is multiplied to push the heavy vehicles.
And the heavy vehicles need more friction to move in stable, so wider tyres are necessary.
