There are two more formula for calculating flowing current in both the resistors connected in parallel.
Let the two resistor R1 and R2 connected in parallel. Current I1 and I2 is flowing in Resistor R1 and R2 respectively. equivalent of both resistor is R and the total current flowing in the circuit is I.
So the current flowing in each resistor is given by formula-
I1 = (R2×I)/(R1+R2)
I2= (R1×I)/(R1+R2)
This will help you to calculate the current flowing in each resistor without actually applying too many formulas. This formula is applied when potential difference is not given.
