Hey..!!! :))

_____________
_____________

external volume= 80×65×45=234000 cubic centimeter

internal length = 80- (2.5×2)=75
internal breadth= 65- (2.5×2)=60
internal height = 45-(2.5×2)=40
internal volume = 75×60×40= 180000 cubic centimeter

capacity = internal volume

volume of the wood = external volume - internal volume
                            = 234000 - 180000
                            = 54000
now, given, 100cm3 of wood= 8g
                = 54000×1/100
                = 540×8
                = 4320g
                =  4320kg Ans

Given :

L= 80 cm
l = 80-2(2.5) = 75cm
B= 65 cm
b=65-2(2.5)=60cm
H=45cm
h=42.5 cm

Capacity of box = internal volume = lbh = 75×60×42.5 = 191250 cm³...(i)

Volume of wood = External volume-Internal Volume = 80×65×45 - 191250 = 42750cm³..(ii)

100 cm³ of box weighs 8g

10 cm³ weighs 0.8 g

42750 cm³ weighs 0.8×4275 = 3420 g = 3.420 kg ...(iii)
