The correct answer is H, -3 < x < 2

Solution:

-5 < 1 - 3x < 10
=>  -5 < 1 - 3x                      &                      1 - 3x < 10
=> -5 - 1 < -3x                      &                      -3x < 10 - 1
=> -6 < -3x                           &                       -3x < 9
=> -6 / -3 > x (since the number is being divided by a negative number, the sign of inequality changes)

 &                       x > 9 / -3
=> 2 > x                                &                       x > -3

Thus, clubbing it together, we get :  2 > x > -3
Which is also :  -3 < x < 2

I hope this helped :), Please mark as brainliest if you can :)

Hey friend!!

Here's ur answer..

_______________________

-5 < 1 - 3x < 10

So, separating two equations :

First equation :

-5 < 1 - 3x
-5-1 < - 3x
-6 < - 3x
-6/-3 < x
2 > x -------------(1)

Second equation :

1 - 3x < 10
-3x < 10 - 1
-3x < 9
x < 9/-3
x > - 3 --------------(2)

Inequality sign is changed because the number being divided is negative.

Combining (1) & (2)

2 > x >-3
-3 < x < 2

So, correct answer is H.
