Question 002 is -
A light and a heavy body have equal kinetic energies.Which of the body has the greater MOMENTUM(WITH EXPLANATION).

Question 003 [NUMERICAL BASED] -
A bullet of mass 0.04 kg moving with speed of 90 m/s enters a heavy wooden block and stops after moving 60 cm . What is the average resistive force by the block on the bullet.

1)The loss of kinetic energy is appeared as heat and sound energy
2)If a massive particle and a light particle have the same momentum, the light one will have a lot more kinetic energy. If a light particle and a heavy one have the same velocity, the heavy one has more kinetic energy.
so when kinetic energy is equal then momentum of light particle is less than the momentum of heavy particle
3)The retardation of a bullet is ä=-U^2/2S
=-90×90/2×0.6
=-6750ms^-2

THEREFORE the resistive force is=0.04×6750
=270 N
