f(b) - f(a) and g(b) - g(a) :

f(b)=b(b+1)=b2+b
f(a)=a(a+1)=a2+a

f(b)-f(a)=b2+b-a2-a


g(b)=b(b2-1)=b3-b
g(a)=a(a2-1)=a3-a

g(b)-g(a)=b3-b-a3+a

HCF:-
Option B {b-a}
