Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system was introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India to assess all aspects of a student’s development on a continuous basis throughout the year. The assessment covers both scholastic subjects as well as co-scholastic areas such as performance in sports, art, music, dance, drama, and other cultural activities and social qualities.

Answer:

To make the education and learning effective for the students, teachers need to evaluate them on a regular basis in order to keep a check and balance on if they are able to learn and understand the topics which are being taught in the class.

Also,to become expert in any subject it needs continuous practice, thus teachers themselves need to continuously work on improving their skills so they are able to teach and make the children understand in a better manner.

Hence, for effective learning and teaching, there is a need of continuous and comprehensive evaluation in teaching learning of mathematics
