Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation a process of assessment is made compulsory by Right to Education Act of India in 2009.
This approach to assessment was made by state governments in India and by Central Board of Secondary Education in India for students of sixth to tenth grades.
From this smaller classes student will have practice to face exam of board in younger age.
Karnataka government opened CCE for grades 1 to 9 and afterwards started for 12th grades students.
Aim of CCE was analyzing every point of child during their presence at school.
This is believed to lessen pressure on child during/before examinations as student will have to sit for different tests throughout the year.
CCE technique is claimed bringing huge changes from traditional chalk and talk technique of teaching provided it's implemented perfectly.
