Contrast the behavior of a water wave that travel by a stone barrier to a sound wave that travels through a door

The sound waves and the water waves are both different types of waves which are completely different from each other.

When water wave is traveling if any hindrance like the stone barrier appears in the way of the wave a major part of the wave will be obstructed and the rest part will pass through either upwards or any other void space available in that stone barrier.

But when a sound wave is obstructed by a door,the major portion of the sound wave is also obstructed by the door surface but the rest of the waves travel directly through the door,due to it's vibration nature.
