Answer: Yes there were many positive contributions done by the British for India example: Railway system, Technology, etc but these contributions weren't intended to be made for the welfare of the Indian community it was for the British interests although these interests helped in the development of the country. It is considered that British made a positive impact and has done many positive contributions for the country for their personal interests
