Food is the most essential part of our life that keeps us alive. If it were that we did not have food, then we would die of hunger. Chemistry plays a critical role in food. For example, in rice, we must cook it with water to make it edible. While it is being cooked in the vessel with water, it mixes with the water and that is why the rice is always moist after cooking. Coming to plants, they undergo many chemical reactions during their germination. With these examples, I conclude my answer.
