• People started question how the world worked, their purpose in life and questioned religion and did researches. Scientific discoveries were made. People became more rational.
• Steps were taken to understand the working of human brain. Scientific discovery led to new cures.
• Copernicus was the one who proposed earth revolved around the sun. Galileo proved the theory.
• People gained knowledgle and revolted against the oppression in the name of religion. They also revolted against the upper class who had their control over them.
• PRINTING PRESS was introduced. Allowing more people to study and gain knowledge from religious and historical writings. People got opportunities to showcase their talents.
• Steams Engines, Submarines and Microscope were also invented.
• People would study art, history, philosophy. Creativity, ideas and debates were appreciated.
• Discoveries of other countries and cultures by Europeans. Use of Chinese inventions: Gunpowder and Magnetic Compass. The discoveries established trade between Europe and other countries, eventually leading to the colonial period
I'm surely missing some of the things but these are the only things I've learned from books so far. Hope it helps. Also, google says flush toilets were created during the period but I'm not sure about that
