⏺Alluri Sitaram Rahu was a tribal leader in Gudem Hills of Andhra Pradesh. He started a militant Guerilla Movement in early 1920s. His role was vital in inspiring the rebels the tribal people were enraged by the British policy but when government began forcing them for 'begar' for road building the hill people revolted. Alluri Sitaram Raju inspired the people by talking about greatness of Mahatma Gandhi. Inspired by Gandhi's Non-cooperation movement he persuaded to wear khadi and give up drinking.
