Contruct triangle ABC in which BC=5cm ,angle CAB=120 and angle ABC =3o construct another triangle whise saides are 4/5 times the corresponding sides of triangle ABC

Steps of construction

1) firstly draw a line segment of length 5 cm and name it as BC .

2) Now , construct an angle at B = 30° , and also C = 30° .
( because of the angle sum property of a triangle .
angle CAB + angle ABC + angle ACB = 180°
120°+30°+angle ACB = 180°
angle ACB = 30° )

3) now from b , construct an acute angled line downwards and divide it into 5 equal parts and its points named as B1 , B2 , B3 , B4 , B5 , respectively .

4) join the points CB5 and then construct a line from B4 parallel to CB5 joining BC at C' .

5) similarly , construct a line from C' parallel to AC to join AB at A'

6) The triangle BA'C' is the required triangle .
