1. solid, gas, liquid are different states of matter

2. solid:In solid state atoms or molecules are arranged very closely without any space

liquid:In liquid state atoms or molecules are arranged less closely with leaving less between atoms or molecules compared to solid state

gas:In gaseous state atoms or molecules are arranged very widely without leaving any space

3. SI unit of temperature is kelvin

4. by heating the water it gets boiled and change to liquid state by over heating the liquid state of water it changes to water vapour because of less density of vapour it travels to upside this process called evaporation

5. Clothes dry faster on a sunny day because on sunny day temperature is too high so water in clothes gets heated water in it evaporated then clothes get dry faster on sunny day compared to cloudy day

6. because of condensation process

explanation:Water droplets form on the outer surface of the container containing a cold substance due to Condensation. The temperature of the container is cold enough to cool down the water vapor in the surrounding air, so it turns from gaseous to liquid state. ... Condensation will occur more easily in saturated air than dry air.

7. humidity mean water concentration present in atmosphere

8. freezing point is 0 degree celsius

boiling point is 100 degree celsius

9. the conversion of vapour or gas to liquid is called condensation
