•When we can't reuse a source of energy after using it for one time, then we call them as conventional or non-renewable energy resources.

ex: petroleum, natural gas, nuclear energy etc.

•When we can reuse a source of energy even after using it for one time, then we call them as nonconventional or renewable energy resources.

ex: solar energy, wind energy etc.

this fossil fuels are coal petroleum natural gas conventional sources are generaly non renewable sources of energy as accumlation or conversion of convientional sources takes years once the are exploited or consummed
