aper- (yawns) Hey Pencil! What are you doing? What time is it? Is it morning?

Pencil- It must be around 1'oclock a.m. And as for what I'm doing, I'm sharpening myself.

Paper- At this time at night! Go to sleep!

Pencil- Why should I listen to you?

Paper- If you don't want to go back to sleep, then at least try to sharpen yourself without making so much noise!

Pencil- I can sharpen myself quietly, but why should I take the trouble to do it just because you asked?

Paper- Don't be so rude to me! It's not nice!

Pencil- You are such a coward! If you want me to listen to you, come and fight me! But actually, I don't blame you for being a coward. Anyone can beat you in a fight! Your'e as weak and flimsy as, well, paper! Ha ha ha!

Paper- Be quiet! Have you ever seen how much the children cry when they get a paper cut? And even I am strong when I roll myself up tightly!

Pencil- What use will your paper cuts be against my strong wood? But anyway, come let's fight!

Paper- Fine! Let's fight!

Sharpener- Don't fight, dears. Come close, as I am old and cannot talk loudly. Anyway, don't fight, because I am going to tell you something unbelivable. Did you know, you both are brothers!

Paper- You have to be lying!

Sharpener- Fine, I will prove it to you. Tell me, both of you, the name of the forest you came from and the number of the tree that you were made from in that forest.

Pencil- I was made from tree 362, which is in the Amazon rainforest.

Paper- Hey! Even I come from the same tree!

Pencil- That makes us brothers!

Sharpener- I told you so!

Paper- ( almost in tears) I'm so happy! I thought I had no relatives left in this world since my mother tree was cut down and I was bought by our owner!

Pencil- Even I thought that!

Paper- Cousin hug!

( hug)
