- Let the two friends be Shoaib and Kamal.
- Shoaib: Hi Kamal. Long time no see.
- Kamal: Yes, was busy making preparations for the Dussehra holidays.
- Shoaib: As I don't know about this festival can you please explain me?
- Kamal: Sure, you have read the Ramayana, right?
- Shoaib: Yes, it was taught to us during school days.
- Kamal: So when Ram kills Ravana that day is considered Dussehra.
- Shoaib: Oh, ok then.
- Kamal: So after that Ram started his journey back which consists of 14 days. So for this period of 14 days, we clean our houses to welcome Ram back.
- Shoaib: Oh, Now I understand. Thanks for explaining it to be in such simple terms.
