I: Have you ever wondered what will happen if plants disappear?

Friend: There is nothing to wonder about it! Plants are the base of life; if plants disappear life will also disappear; and our planet will soon die!

I: Then why are human beings in all parts of the world so reckless about plants? I have read somewhere the forests in the world are disappearing at the rate of 13.7 million hectares per year! If this continues, it means the time is not far when there will be no forest cover left in the world!

Friend: You are right! Actually we are heading towards self-destruction! And the most shocking thing is no one seems to be worried about!

I: I am really worried. What can we do?

Friend: Plant trees; protect trees; and spread this awareness among all people.

I: I will definitely do it.
