Explanation :

Step 1 : First we have to convert acetylene into benzene.

Acetylene can be converted into benzene by the Chain polymerization. That means the acetylene pass through red hot iron tube at a temperature of 873 K.

Step 2 : Now we have to convert the benzene into chlorobenzene.

When benzene react with chlorine in the presence of a catalyst like AlCl_3 or FeCl_3 to produce chlorobenzne.
