Convert 3-nitrobromobenzene to 3-nitrobenzoic acid

The conversion of 3 - nitrobromobenzene to 3 - nitrobenzoic acid is done when the reaction undergoes or reacts with ethanolic KCN .

When 3 - nitrobromobenzene reacts or undergo eth. KCN , It gives 3 -nitrobenzonitrile further after acidic hydrolysis It gives 3 - nitrobenzoic acid .
