=> The most widely used temperature scale is Celsius (°C) (sometimes known as Centigrade). Water has a freezing point of 0°C and a boiling point of 100°C in Celsius.

=> Fahrenheit (°F) is the most widely used temperature. Water has a freezing point of 32°F and a boiling point of 212°F in Fahrenheit.

=> A temperature scale with no negative values is known as the Kelvin scale.

=> The formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit-

F = [ C \times (\frac{9}{5}) + 32 ]

As we have C=40^o

F = [ 40 \times (\frac{9}{5}) + 32 ]

F=72+32

F=104

Hence, 40^oC is equivalent to 104^oF.

=> The formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit-

T (K) = T (C)+273.15

As we have C=40^o

T (K) = 40 + 273.15 = 313.15 K

Hence, 40^oC is equivalent to 313.15K
