Phenol when nitrated using Nitrating mixture (conc. HNO3 + conc. H2SO4) gives p-nitrophenol and o-nitrophenol. Benzene treated to the AlCl3 and Cl2 gives chlorobenzene followed by nitration and hydrolysis gives p- nitrophenol product.
