Solution:-

• 3:5=3/5

• 3/5*100%

• 3×20%

• 60%

Explanation:-

• First of all to find the percentage we know that p/q×100

• So,to apply the formula here we will write p:q as p/a I.e., 3:5 will be written as 3/5

• Now in this fraction we will multiply 100.

• As 5 and 100 can be canceled out we will do that.

• Now the number left are 3×20

• Now 3 and 20 product is 60%

To find:-

• percentage of ratio "5:4"

Solution:-

• 5:4=5/4

• 5/4*100%

• 5×25%

• 125%
