Solution:

1) 7.5 m/ sec

---> 1000m = 1 km

1000m = 1 km1 m = 1/1000 km

----> 1 hr = 60 × 60 = 3600 secs

3600 seconds = 1 hr

3600 seconds = 1 hr1 sec = 1/3600 hr

While we convert metre to kilometer we have to divide by 1000

Seconds to hours we have to divide by 3600

 \\  \\ 7.5 \:  \dfrac{m}{sec} \\   \\   = 7.5  \times  \dfrac{ \dfrac{1}{1000} km}{\dfrac{1}{3600}hr }   \\  \\  = 7.5 \times  \dfrac{1}{1000}  \times  \dfrac{3600}{1}

 \\  \\  = 7.5 \times  \dfrac{1}{10} \times 36 \\  \\  =  \dfrac{75 \times 36}{100}   \\  \\  =  27 \:  \dfrac{km}{hr}

2) 1 m/ sec

 \\  \\ 1 \dfrac{metre}{sec}  \\  \\  =  1\times  \dfrac{1}{1000}  \times  \dfrac{3600}{1}  \\  \\  = 3.6 \:  \dfrac{km}{hr}

# While solving for unit conversion take care where to do division and multiplication for conversion

Example : 1 metre to kilometre

1000 m = 1 km

1 m = 1/1000 km

Example: 10 metre to centimeter

1 m = 100 cm

10 m = 10 × 100 = 1000 cm
