Convert this Fraction into a Decimal :- 3/7

\frac{3}{7} = \frac{3}{7} * \frac{3}{3} = \frac{9}{21} = 0.428571.......

Here,

  • The Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 3 & 7 is 21

∵ [3 * 7 = 21] (as 3 & 7 are Prime Numbers) and,

  • The Answer is a Non-Terminating, Recurring Decimal....(i.e.), 0.\overline{428571}
