Convert nitromethane to dimethylamine...plzz give any alternate way..don't tell the ans. already given on merit..itss quite confusing..sometym we go by one way n sometymes in other way....here , how will we knw tht we will use carbylamine..so plzz give any easy way..!!

Here's ur answer...there are 3 steps u need to take.. First reduce it to primary amine..then treat it with ChCl3 and KOH that's carbylamine test or isocyanide test and the further reduce it using Na and ethanol
