First we can oxidise propanol to acid and make amide from it. There are lot of ways.

propanol react with a strong oxidising agent and gives propanoic acid.

Now to form amide propanoic acid react with ammonium chloride and heated to give propanamide.

Now hoffmans bromamide reaction(NaOBr) give ethylamine..
