Here's your answer...
Sodium acetate is CH3COONa
Then add Soda Lime ( a mixture of NaOH and CaO) to it.
So the reaction is :
CH3COONa + NaOH → CH4 + Na2CO3
Note: It must be heated to attain a temperature of 300°C and CaO acts as the catalyst.
