The angle 22 degree 30 minute in radian is \frac{\pi}{8}

Solution:

We have to convert the angle 22 degree 30 minute into radian

We know that, 1 degree = 60 minutes

Therefore 22 degree 30 minute = 22 + (30÷60) degree

=22+\left(\frac{30}{60}\right)=\frac{45}{2} \text { degree }

Now lets convert \frac{45}{2} degree to radian

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Radian }=\frac{\pi}{180} \times \text { Degree Measure }} \\\\ {\text { Radian }=\frac{\pi}{180} \times \frac{45}{2}} \\\\ {\text { Radian }=\frac{\pi}{180} \times \frac{45}{2}=\frac{\pi}{8}}\end{array}

Hence the angle 22 degree 30 minute in radian is \frac{\pi}{8}
