Given : 3-i√3.

To Find : convert the complex number into polar form

Solution:

z = 3 - i√3

z = a + ib

=> a = 3   , b = - √3

r² = a² + b²

=> r² = 9 + 3

=> r² = 12

=> r = 2√3

rcosα = a

=> r sinα = b

=> tanα = b/a

=>  tanα =  - √3/3

=>  tanα =  - 1/√3

=> α = - 30°

α = 330°

2√3 (cos (330°) + i sin (330°))

2√3 e^(i330°)
