Actually Welcome to the concept of Decimal to binary conversion .

Split the number first, so we get as,

6.75 = 6+0.75

==> we know the binary of 6 ==> 110 ,

because, ==> 2^2 + 2^1 + 2^0 = 4+2 =>6

now the fraction part is converted by Repeatitive multiplication by 2,

==> 0.75*2 = 1.50 --> 1

==> 0.50*2 = 1.00---> 1

==> 00*2 =0 ---> 0

hence ,

combing both parts we get as, binary value =>110.110

(6.75)10 ==> (110.110)2
