Answer:
Lead oxide is treated with dilute nitric acid to get soluble lead nitrate. This Lead nitrate is treated with soluble metallic chloride or dilute HCL to get lead chloride.
Chemical Equation :
- PbO + 2HNO 3 -----> Pb(NO 3)2 + H2O
2. Pb(NO 3)2 + 2NaCl ----> PbCl2 + 2NaNO3

To form Lead chloride(PbCl) from Lead Oxide(PbO) use 2 moles of HCl it will gives Lead chloride & Water.The reaction is as follows
PbO + 2HCl -------->PbCl2 + H2O
PbO (lead oxide)
2HCl(2 moles of Hydrogen chloride)
PbCl2 (lead chloride )
H2O (water molecule)
