Solution :

• Mixed fraction is used to express improper fractions  by simplifying it to whole units and a smaller overall fraction .
• Here, numerator is greater than denominator therefore on dividing $\frac{106}{11}$  we get $9.63$ as answer. Ignoring numbers at right side of decimal .We get whole number = $9$
• Now , finding new numerator for the fraction part of a mixed fraction.
• To get new numerator we  multiply the above obtained whole number by original denominator $11$ . We get , $11\times 9 = 99$
• Now , subtracting the above obtained answer from original numerator , we get $106 - 99 = 7$
• After simplifying we put whole number with new numerator and  and original denominator.  We get,

                      $9\frac{7}{11}$
