The correct answers are  8\sqrt{2},27,5\sqrt{5} ,24,36\sqrt{3}.

Given: Pure surds = \sqrt{128},3\sqrt{81}  ,\sqrt{125},3\sqrt{64},4\sqrt{243}.

To Find: Convert them into mixed surds.

Solution:

(i) \sqrt{128} = \sqrt{2*64}

= \sqrt{2*8^{2}  }

= 8\sqrt{2}

(ii) 3\sqrt{81} = 3\sqrt{9*9}

= 3*9

= 27

(iii) \sqrt{125} = \sqrt{5*25}

= \sqrt{5*5^{2} }

= 5\sqrt{5}

(iv) 3\sqrt{64} = 3\sqrt{8*8}

= 3*8

= 24

(v) 4\sqrt{243} = 4\sqrt{81*3}

= 4\sqrt{9^{2} *3}

= 36\sqrt{3}

Hence, the mixed surds of pure surds are 8\sqrt{2},27,5\sqrt{5} ,24,36\sqrt{3} respectively.
