To convert any temprature from Kelvin to Celsius all you need to do is minus 273.15 from the given value and you'll have your answer.

(i) 256 - 273.15 = -17.5℃

(ii) 493 - 273.15 = 219.85℃

Kelvin is the base unit for Thermodynamic temprature in the International System of Units (SI unit). Kelvin temprature scale doesn't use (°) symbol because it is an absolute scale.
